Explore Windsor Castle, Berkshire, London

In 2020-2021,  one of my team mate was living at Slough. I managed to spend the xmas break of 2020 at his place. Due to Covid, we kept it light and explored the neighbourhood during the day and cooked in the evening, watched some movies in Netflix and dozed off.  Some of my interesting observations of the gorgeous neighbourhood of Windsor are: A. There is no issue of buying Asian groceries at Slough neighbourhood.  B. It feels closer to Heathrow but it is not really close. You need to commute in some circular way. C. There are some cafes around Windsor castle and they serve good snacks.  D. I was pleasantly surprised by the Dorney Lake (https://www.dorneylake.co.uk/seasonal-grounds-visiting). The place is magnificient, beautiful, got a small cafe. Plenty of family people visit here as well. You can do a rectangular walk and return to parking spot (around 6km) E. Thames and London Town walk

I love this Thames and Town walk route as I lived near Whitechapel for sometime. I do enjoy some sun shine while I walk. But we all know how nice the London weather is !!!   Let us start around Tower Bridge or St. Katherine Docks, Marina Walk thru St. Katierine way and circle around Hermitage Basin to enter Wapping High Street and walk along till you hit the Prospect of Whitby Pub (oldest river side Tavern / Pub).  Walk along Wapping Road, Glamis Road and wonder why Shadwell Basin is still there (just for fun) and take the small right to Thames Path via King Edward Memorial Park. You will get the Thames view soon and walk along till you hit the Jardin's Road. Cross the "T" shaped and walk towards Narrow Street. Do enjoy the view from Breadstreet Kitchen & Bar /Limehouse. You can try a bit of de-tour via Horseferry Road to view Limehouse Basin and come back to Breadstreet also.  Once you are near the Dundee wharf, you will enjoy the view of skycrapers and walk alo...
