Explore Malaysia, Truly Asia

Image
Malaysia is an interesting country. Multi-cultural society, plenty of English.  Let us look at what to do at Malaysia: Kuala Lumpur (KL): Capital city of Malaysia, known for the popular twin tower from Petronas. Great place to shop such as Pavilion, Suria KLCC, Lot 10, Sunway Velocity & Midvalley Magamall etc . I also like Royal Selangor visitor centre to buy some home decors or silvers. Brickfields is an Indian neighbourhood and is very closed to KL Sentral.  My favourite place is walk around River of Life (Jalan Benteng) at twilight. Visit at night for captivating lights and stunning views of the city’s oldest mosque, Masjid Jamek Sultan Abdul Samad. Don’t miss the nightly light show, when the river transforms into a striking cobalt blue, and water and lights dance to various musical tracks. KL is extremely popular and well known for street food. Jalan Bukit Bintang is the neighbourhood and has got a Monorail stop. Pls get down and walk around Jalan Alor or Hutong F...

Exploring Putrajaya

Image
Putrajaya is close to KL and the drives takes anywhere from 30-50 min based in traffic and peak hour. It is also well connected to KLIA airport. It is part of Selangor district and Designed to be a administrative town of Malaysian govt and its officials, the town gives some sort of European feel and the river cuts across nicely. To simply put, Engineers had designed and executed well while creating Putrajaya. There is lot to explore ... like., Putra Mosque, Iron Mosque, Mercu Tanda Park, Botanical Garden, Putraja Lake and Bridge. District 21 theme park takes care of family needs. IOI City Mall offers more than 300 outlets, movies and ice skating facilities. It is a good place for site seeing; plenty of food options; Do explore and dont forget to take your sun glasses ! I forgot and I struggled a bit in bright sun shine !
